about

the 'Mericans

'Merican Recordings (Expanded + Remastered)

these songs were recorded in 2001 at a little old house on the West Side of Providence, Rhode Island. while this album wasn't physically first released until 2006, it represents the beginning of the 'Mericans as a band. the last 3 songs are bonus tracks not previously included in original pressings, but were recorded during the same sessions.

'Merican Recordings was inspired by Johnny Cash. all songs
were written, recorded, mixed, and mastered by Chris Daltry at
At Home Recording Studio with contributions from Joel Thibodeau,
William Charles Rice, Margie Wienk, and Erik Carlson.

thanks to Jud Ehrbar for loaning the ADAT machine that was used
to record this project, Thom Monahan and Dave Auchenbach for additional equipment and recording advice, Peter MacPhee and
Matt Kandarian for cover artwork + design, and Shawn Greenlee
for originally mastering and sequencing this album.
